Japan housing starts rise 9.1% year-on-year in October

Housing starts in Japan rose 9.1% in October (-0.2% in September) to reach 115,769 units, according to statistical data released by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The wooden structure dwellings recovered after 4 months of slump and reached 47,872 units in October (+2.5% year-on-year).
